Ogawa Congratulates Miss Karen Ibasco of the Philippines, Crowned Miss Earth 2017
The newly hailed Superhero of Mother Earth, Miss Karen Ibasco of the Philippines, emerged triumphant and truly deserving of the title, “Miss Earth 2017”. The coronation night was held last November 4 at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City hosted by Mr. James Deakin.
The event kicked off with crowd cheering for the 84 beautiful candidates who paraded in their superhero costumes. Each one looked stunning and confident as they walked on stage representing their countries.
Finally, four top delegates were asked to answer the same question. Miss Karen Ibasco’s winning response during the Q&A when asked about the biggest enemy of Mother Earth was:
“I believe that the real problem in this world is not climate change; the real problem is us because of our ignorance and apathy. What we have to do is to start changing our ways, to start recalibrating our minds, and redirecting our steps, because together, as a global community, our micro efforts will have a macro effect to help save our home, our planet. Thank you.”
Ogawa representatives, known for their support of health and wellness with their massage chairs, graced the prestigious event as a proud VIP guest and sponsor of Miss Earth. Mr. Edgar Geollegue of Ogawa arrived with Whatchu merchant relations officer, Miss Jastine Baylon. Whatchu is a mobile app that lets shoppers know where to find items they’re looking for.
